The handling of water and wastewater is an increasingly important factor in our environmentally conscious society. Vulcan Innovation Project, along with NAIT, is offering both information sessions and training programs for anyone interested in the Water and Wastewater Technician trade. An information session in May will provide the background of the trade, as well as talk about opportunities for training, careers and employment, and more. This is open to all people - new entrants to the trade, existing operators, municipal employees and administrators, or anyone simply interested.
Actual training programs are scheduled for October 2010. This is open to new entrants and existing operators.
INFORMATION SESSION - May 17, 2010 at the Champion Community Hall, Champion AB from 6:30pm - 9:00pm. Cost is $15 per person.
TRAINING COURSE - October 19 & 20, Vulcan AB. More details to come.
